Vice President Dave Houston opened the meeting at 7:10 p.m.

Chairman McCain reported on the Parents' Weekend, Alpha Phi Omega working at Mem Hall and the (?) show.  Was Lowery gave reported his attendance at the recent Campus Chest meeting.  Vice President Houston read a letter from the Veterans Hospital Re: Alpha Phi Omega of volunteering to work at the installation.Alpha Phi Omega will run a magazine and book drive the 13th for the benefit of the hospital.  Al Swanson moved the sending of a letter of sympathy to President Van Meter regarding his illness.  Motion was seconded and unanimously passed.  The corresponding secretary was asked to send a note to the Springfield chapter Re: of meeting next fall.  Petition for membership from Newark, St. Cloud, and to New York colleges were read by the vice president and passed around.

Discussion was held on plans for holding a social program on the 20th, our last meeting.  Pissibility all bowling in Mem Hall was discussed and will be looking to, as also will be movies.  The petitioning groups were were voted in the affirmative by a unanimous vote.

The meeting was adjourned by Vice President Houston at 7:43 p.m.
